My interest in the field of Physical Therapy is one by which I came honestly: growing up I was a multi-sport athlete and in perpetual motion; I was much more likely to be found outside running and exploring than inside, sitting still. This attitude led me to a fascination with the body, how it worked and how best to keep it functioning at optimal levels. I completed the Doctoral program in Physical Therapy at the University Pacific and settled with my family in the San Francisco Bay Area. My wife, Emily is also a practicing PT and along with our two sons and our two dogs we are typically found in motion and outdoors exploring this beautiful state.
My post-graduate training in the world of orthopedic physical therapy has led me to realize that true progress requires diligent maintenance rather than intermittent attention. Therefore I would like to see changes made to the current processes, with a focus on preventative care: techniques used to stay ahead of injury, rather than simply treatment implemented after the fact.
